Directed by Rachel Westberg

The vaudeville team of “Lewis and Clark” is asked to reunite for a performance in the upcoming comedy The Sunshine Boys at the Red Barn Theatre in Rice Lake.

Ben Silverman (played by Ben Heer) is a young theatrical agent attempting to convince his uncle Willie Clark (played by Jeff Martin) to work again with his former comedic partner Al Lewis (played by Bill Koslofsky) for a history of comedy television special. The problem: the duo has not spoken to each other in a dozen years. The fun ensues as the cantankerous actors are brought together for a rehearsal. Rounding out the cast are Roger Mulderink, Emily Davis, Mary Hankins and Rick Snyder. Something special added to the cast will be cameo performances by Sheriff Chris Fitzgerald, radio announcer Bob Rogers, and the Honorable Maureen Boyle.

Directing Neil Simon’s The Sunshine Boys is Rachel Westberg, of Chetek. A seasoned actress for the Red Barn this is Westberg’s directing debut after directing several plays for the Chetek-Weyerhaeuser High School Drama program.

Exhibiting in the gallery during the show will be local artist Don Ruedy.

Ruedy works with watercolor, pastel, and oil paints as well as wood, clay, bronze and concrete sculpture using all subjects
